The best wedding favors ever
Hello friends, my name is holly, but my closest friends call me holls.
Everyone that knows me knows that I write on everything I can find. Ever since my first calligraphy class in 5th grade, I’ve been obsessed with pretty lettering. As a Teenager I would write on any blank surface I could find.
When it came time to plan my wedding to my amazing husband, Derick, I had plans to write on absolutely everything! The idea Derick and were most excited about was me writing funny, inspirational, and quirky quotes on 150 coffee mugs as wedding favors! We had such a blast in the months leading up to the wedding as we brainstormed 150 different quotes to be on the mugs. The guest were able to pick out their own unique coffee cup and drink coffee out of that mug for the rest of the evening, and bring it home at the end of the night.
The mugs were an even bigger hit than I could have imagined. Some mugs were highly sought after, and almost fought after! 🤣 I had so much fun seeing which mugs my family and friends ended up with.
Even in the weeks following the wedding, I would get a picture from a friend or family member of them drinking coffee out of their mug, along with a sweet message like, "thinking of you today" or, "praying for you and Derick today as a drink coffee out of my mug!"
My sweet husband and I still enjoy drinking out of our ‘hubby’ and ‘wifey’ mugs I made for us to use during the wedding.
Here we are, a year after the wedding and my eyes still light up to think about 150 mugs with unique and hilarious sayings on them. Since the wedding, I’ve had so many people ask me if my mugs were for sale yet. And now, I can finally say that they are!
Soon after launching our mugs, we added fun t-shirts, pillows, tot bags, and more!
