About Us
Hi there! We’re M. Laura and Iñaki, a husband-and-wife team of designers passionate about creating and building projects together.
Through the years, we’ve developed several creative businesses that combine our love for graphic design, textile design, sewing, and home décor.
We are the founders of Miusta (www.miusta.com.ar), our textile business based in Argentina, specializing in the manufacture of custom cushions, pillow covers, mattress covers, and home décor products.
The hands-on experience we’ve gained through designing, manufacturing, and selling textile products at Miusta inspired us to create Home Decor Projects, where we share the sewing patterns, techniques, and tutorials we use to make many of the products we create every day in our workshop. Our goal is to help makers create professional-looking home décor items through detailed instructions and practical sewing knowledge.
In addition to this shop, we also run Easy Peasy Projects, where we focus on beginner-friendly sewing patterns and simple DIY projects designed to help new sewists learn, build confidence, and enjoy the creative process.
We also created Ilu.Ink Studio, our surface pattern design shop, where we develop seamless patterns, digital papers, and textile prints inspired by our experience in the textile and home décor industry.
