Joan (Mom) had two kids, Rachel (ME) and her son, Jesse. She taught us to always give 200% and work hard!

Update July 2025 -
Joan Romano (my amazing mother) passed away peacefully June 4,2025.
I (Rachel Romano) have plans to continue running HomeLiving as usual as I have been since her cancer diagnosis Jan 2024. I thank you all for being patient with me through this time and I'm so grateful to throw myself into the work that she SO loved.

Joan - I love sewing and have been for over 35 years.
I started out sewing clothing for myself and made my wedding gown.
While raising my children, I was working as a seamstress doing alterations.
Now, I am finally doing something I love! Making homes beautiful !

HomeLiving got its beginnings in 2011 while I was working for a events business in Raleigh. It grew so much that I had to quit my job and began solely working on selling on Etsy. We recently moved into a 700 square foot shop to get some much needed elbow room!

We were featured in Coastal Living Magazine and currently running our products on Wayfair & Houzz

In April of 2015 my daughter, Rachel, quit 'corporate America' to partner with me in HomeLiving Inc. Rachel handles customer service and is director of sales and marketing.

We work well as a team and hope to make HomeLiving all we've dreamed it could be! We are inspired to provide the best service and quality product that we can!
