It all started last Black Friday, when my son told me he'd bought a 3D printer. I gave him a hard time about it. Then, of course, I went out and bought one myself, and I was hooked right away. There's something special about making something real, right at home.

I'm not a designer. What I love is finding great designs, printing the ones that fit our home and seeing them come to life. Not long ago my son printed a beautiful candle stand, and my daughter said, "Dad never prints that sort of stuff!" She had a point. So I handed the printer over to my wife and daughter and told them to pick whatever they wanted. Before long they were printing too, and we started asking ourselves: why not make festive decor and share it with others?

That's how Homespun Layers began. We're just getting started, and we're still finding the pieces people love most. Every item is printed at home by our family, one layer at a time. I've always wanted a business the whole family could enjoy together, and this is it. Thank you for stopping by and being part of our beginning!
