I am absolutely bat-s**t crazy for books.
And when I say I am that crazy over books, I mean it. I have over 10,000 ebooks alone. Don't get me started on the spare bedroom that doubles as a home library. I'm never bored, there's always a good book to read around here.
I've always been a reader. Mom got me hooked on books as a very small child, and growing up, the worst punishment I could be given was not more chores or can't go play with friends, it was "You are grounded from reading." Mom would even call the local library (because it was on my way home from school) and tell them I wasn't allowed in until for however long. Cruel and unusual punishment, that was!
By the time I reached adulthood, I'd pretty much read my way through the entire small public library in my hometown. Had to start on the big library in the nearby county seat. Still eventually ran out of books as many of their books were the same as what was in my local spot. Thank goodness for bookstores, and book sections in thrift shops. They helped me discover many more books and often ruined my budget, haha.
My taste runs the gamut, although I mostly prefer science-fiction (hard and soft, everything from Anne McCaffrey to Isaac Asimov - and yes, I HAVE read all of his Foundation books), dystopian, and young adult, along with a good smattering of fantasy and LitRPG.
In order to share my love of books with others, along came the Etsy shop. I'd had it for a long time and didn't really do anything with it. It just sat there, sad and empty for the most part. Thank goodness for Print on Demand so I can do all the lovely things I enjoy as gifts myself and want to share with others.
Thanks for stopping by!
Since I have three cats and a pit bull (say it fast and you get pibble - she's actually a purebred American Staffordshire Terrier but that's one of the "pit bull" breeds, so I have a pibble!)...the shop became 3KitsAndAPibble. So my shop buddies are Bandit the pibble, and Stars, Bouncer, and Pumpkin the kitties.
Welcome to our world!
