Leather pieces exposed to water, sweat, forcing, pulling and stretching will break. Please see the care card insert that is sent with every piece. If you are in need of a jewelry repair or remakes, please contact me and I am happy to get you fair pricing.
INTERNATIONAL SALES: Effective September 29, 2024 -- It is incredibly sad, but I will no longer be doing international sales. With the increased rate of custom charges, and scam purchasers looking for free merchandise, I can no longer allow this to affect my business. I am deeply saddened by this decision, but am grateful for all of my former world wide customers. Thank you!
INCORRECT ADDRESSES:
PACKAGES RETURNED DUE TO INCORRECT ADDRESS OR
PACKAGES NOT ABLE TO BE SENT DUE TO WRONG ADDRESS PROVIDED: If a package is shipped and comes back to me due to an error on my behalf, I will most certainly take on the cost and reship. If a package is returned to me due to an incorrect address as an error from the buyer OR if package cannot be shipped from post office due to buyer providing incorrect address, the buyer will have two options to choose from:
1. The package can be resent once a correct address is received. Please send the correct address promptly within the ship window. Within the US -- There will be a non-negotiable $10 resend fee which covers all the shipping envelopes, paper, time, gas and products used for shipment. I can set up a listing for buyer to cash out and once that is completed, I can resend the item. If International, there will be additional appropriate fees applied based on shipping cost.
OR
2. I can refund the purchase minus the non-negotiable $10 shipping fee and the 15% restocking fee as described in my Etsy shop guidelines.
3. Custom orders cannot be refunded in anyway if customer does not provide correct address and pay the $10 non-negotiable shipping fee.
Buyer has 48 hours to choose which direction they would like to go. If I do not hear back from the buyer within the 2 days, on the 3rd day I will move forward with option 2. If the buyer contacts me outside of the Etsy allotted ship window, shipping date will be adjusted.
PICTURE ACCURACY:
I do my very best to make sure all of our listing pictures are as close as possible to the exact color. BUT, there are definitely differences in lighting between day and night, outdoors and indoors, and camera adjustments. We try to get to adjust and edit photos to make them as accurate as possible. Please know that there may be some differences in colors. Honey Hill Designs is an honest and upfront seller. We do our very best to represent every single piece to the best of our ability.
PRICING:
Please note that even with inflation and postage increases, HHD has continued to offer outstanding quality, pearls, and service without inflated pricing or shipping charges. We are priced way below brick and mortar stores and are below and competitively priced within our Etsy shop. Our pricing is very fair. We create honest work that we stand behind, and goods we are incredibly proud to offer to our customers. Please do NOT message us with price negotiation requests. All negotiation requests will be denied. We will not negotiate our work. Thank you for understanding. :)

I CAN CREATE A CUSTOM DESIGN PIECE JUST FOR YOU! See a little ditty you love, but wish it was in a different color? Let me know ~~ PLEASE MESSAGE ME. We can chat pricing and create something one-of-a-kind! Custom orders consist of any and all changes that are requested to be made to any piece including sizing, color changes, knotting changes -- any and all changes of any kind make it a custom order. All custom orders have a flat $8 shipping fee and are not considered free shipping. Specific pearl requests regarding picking the pearl(s) for your piece out of HHD stock is an additional $25 per pearl. Please trust that the pearls we pick for your piece will be beautiful. ALL CUSTOM ORDERS ARE FINAL SALE. CUSTOM ORDERS CANNOT BE CANCELED, RETURNED, EXCHANGED OR EDITED AFTER PURCHASED.
SCAM PURCHASERS: It is so incredibly unfortunate and with a heavy heart that this has to even be addressed. Any scam purchasers that are wanting to purchase, leave a poor review in the hopes of obtaining free merchandise or a monetary payment back, or that want to purchase dishonestly to obtain free merchandise, please do not even think of purchasing. You will be reported to Etsy and you will have a block put on your account. We are a legitimate small business doing honorable and fair work that provides for our families. Please respect that. We will not tolerate being bullied, pressured or intimidated by purchasers not wanting to purchase honestly. Our pictures and descriptions match the purchase that is made, and we make outstanding quality pieces. Verification pictures are taken next to the purchasers envelope with address verification on every single piece that leaves our shop. We know how the piece looks, left our shop, and where it ships. RETURNS/EXCHANGES:
Exchanges/Returns: In the instance you need to return or exchange an item, please contact me within 7 days of receiving your item. I am super fair, and I will do my best to work with you to make things right. Item will need to be returned in condition it was sent. I should receive your returned/exchanged item back within 14 days. Please send item in a bubble envelope to protect it. I take verification pictures of every item prior to shipping so there is no question of the condition your piece left my studio. Every design is sent in perfect condition. Buyer will take on all original & return shipping expenses of the item. There is a non-negotiable 15% restocking fee for any exchange or return which will be deducted from refund amount. If you would like to exchange, after the return reimbursement, you can then purchase the item you wish. If there is ever a problem with your order, please please please reach out via a private message. I will definitely follow the guidelines of my shop, and I am super fair. ORGANIC SHEA BUTTER FINISH:
Oh this is so dreamy! Organic Shea Butter is a beautiful natural emollient. After each leather corded piece is made, I apply a thin coat of shea butter to it. The shea butter will help keep the leather soft and moisturized so it does not dry out as much and become brittle. It also helps keep it from breaking and helps to seal the knotting. It also protects it a bit more from water in the instance it gets wet. Shea butter is not used on the vegan suede cord, natural genuine suede cord, or elastic/stretch based pieces. The shea butter finish will leave a soft powdery beachy looking finish on your leather. if you do not wish to have the finish look you may massage the shea butter into the leather or you can request it not to be applied. Not having the shea butter finish will mean your leather is not protected as well. Therefore, I will not be able to return or exchange that item. If you wish to NOT have shea butter applied to your jewelry piece, please contact me PRIOR to purchase and please know it will not be refundable! Thank you!
STARTING JUNE 1, 2022 -- ALL vegan sueded cord and genuine suede cord earrings will be made only with yellow gold, rose gold or stainless steel, and not be made with sterling. This will delete the issue with cleaning sterling and possibly discoloring the suede/sueded cord.
TURNING BRACELETS INTO ANKLETS:
