Once upon a time my mother decided I should learn how to crochet. Being left-handed I had a tough time picking it up, but it was her perseverance and patience that got me to where I am today!
After completing a twin size afghan, which took me about 7 years 😉, I decided that crochet really was a worthy hobby. I crocheted off and on for the next 10 years - mostly making baby blankets.
More recently I have a renewed love of crochet and I enjoy gifting handmade items to friends and family as well as trying out new items and attempting to write my own patterns to share with others.
In 2014, my husband encouraged me to try selling some of my hats and he has continued to be a big supporter and sharer of useful ideas to expand my shop.
In 2016 he gifted me a Cricut machine and it didn't take long before I was learning to use vinyl and a heat press for customizing shirts! Options are limitless in this new endeavor!
