Much softer to touch than I thought it was going to be which is nice, especially as its a feature in my new nursery. Everyone who visits comments on the rug. Purchase process was simple and I received the package in less time than expected, no worries at all. VERY happy with this purchase and would recommend to others only I don't want anyone else to have one!

The Hooked Design lace carpets are hand-made in Finland from recycled material. Our first collection consists of ecological design carpets from textile industry left-over material. The customer can decide the size and color. The lace carpet design is influenced by the windows of the cathedral Notre Dame de Paris. The name “Hooked Design” comes from the traditional crocheting technique which requires a crochet hook.
All our products are 100 % textile industry leftover material. Because of this, the thickness and colors may vary. The material is mostly cotton, but may include synthetic fibers.
The round carpets are available in sizes: 50-200 cm (diameter). The basic sizes are 60 cm, 90 cm, 120 cm and 140 cm. Basic colors are white, off-white, grey (mouliné) and black. Other colors are available on request.
The carpets are easy to maintain. The small carpets (max 120 cm) can be washed in a washing machine (follow your own washing machine's instructions). We recommend washing the larger carpets at a laundry. Wash separately in delicate wash in 40 degrees celsius. Dry on a flat surface and shape the carpet to its right form when still damp. Colors may fade after several washings.
