Thank you so much for supporting my small business! Everything in my shop is hand made to order and is usually done with owner-provided hair, but can also be done with my stock hair.
Most projects need anywhere from a pencil to a finger in diameter of hair THE LONGER THE BETTER, so if you're unsure about how much to send, please contact me.
Once you make your selections and get checked out, you can send your hair to me at 2224 Blakers Blvd, Okatie, SC 29909.
Please make sure to clearly label your package with the name matching your Etsy order for easy identification (trust me, I get A LOT of packages!).
Also, please note that large or bulky envelopes are NOT shipped like regular envelopes that are priced based on weight! They are shipped the same as packages and are priced on size as well. I HIGHLY recommend shipping using tracking (we're talking precious cargo here!), as regular first class mail can be slow and unreliable.
And please, never hesitate to ask if you have any questions or requests along the way!

Do you do pieces with customer-provided hair?
I absolutely do custom orders with your own horse's hair! Let me know if you see something you like, or check out the "custom" listings and I'll make sure you get exactly what you want.
How much hair do I need to send?
For most fully braided projects, I ask for about a finger in diameter and as long as possible. Pendants, rings, and cuff bracelets often take a pencil in diameter of hair or less. If you have hair already collected, feel free to send extra and I will send back any that remains after the project is done. If you're looking to do multiple projects, let me know and I can advise on if you'll need to send extra hair.
How do I collect hair from my horse so it won't be noticed?
The best place to collect hair from is in the middle of the tail, at the end of the tail bone. That is the least noticeable spot, the longest, and the least sun-faded.
Do I need to wash/prep the hair before I send it?
Nope! All I ask is that you bind the end with a rubber band or some tape and put it in a bag. I will take care of the washing for you!
How should I send my horse's hair to you?
You are welcome to send it any way you like, but if you are concerned about putting it in the mail, I like to use the 2-3 day priority "if it fits it ships" boxes from USPS. They come with tracking and $50 in insurance.

Sizing details
Rings cannot be re sized later because of the channel, so please make sure to have your finger sized by a jeweler before ordering. When in doubt, please order up a half size.
Gift wrapping and packaging
I will be happy to wrap your gift for you! Just select the gift wrap option at checkout and in addition to the box, I will wrap and add a bow and even a note if you'd like. I'm also happy to ship directly to the recipient if needed.
Cancelled Orders
When placing your order, please be sure that you are ready to send in your hair. Etsy takes shop shipping times very seriously, so please be ready to send in your hair in a timely manner. If hair is not received and I am unable to complete your order by the shipping date, and I am unable to contact you regarding your order, a refund minus any processing fees will be issued and your order will be cancelled. Engraving fees plus a removal fee for pre-engraved pieces will not be returned. Thank you so much for your understanding!
