I chose in particular the pale pink rose for three main reasons for my daughter- In- Law her favourite shade of pink, her favourite flower & to give her a bit of a boost as it was a special little gift sent in her Mums memory. Her comment on receiving it was how realistic it looked & how soft the petals felt & she particularly said she was glad it had no thorns & would be everlasting with the proper instructed care. Hello and welcome to HOUSE OF FABLE - where beauty meets longevity.

My name is Astri, I am the artist behind all the paper petals that you will find here. Throughout the years working as graphic and textiles surface design artist, I still find beauty in nature and botanicals are the biggest inspiration for my work.

The paper botanicals I create are handcrafted from high quality Italian and German crepe paper. I also hand paint, laminate as well as sculpt them in my small studio room from Canada.
On this shop you will find one of a kind pieces of paper botanicals where each petal tells a story of art, and I hope these unique pieces will bring a little bit of joy into everyday life.
