Vintage Inspired Glamour and Cuteness to make you squeal with delight!
Fluff started as my little day dream during lunch breaks at work.
It was literally just some scribbles and notes in my sketchbook.
I would just add to it every day imagining if I could do my own thing what would it be.
Finally I took the jump and started it as a line of greeting cards since I knew about printing.
Then went door to door and sold them to local stores, then did trade shows and grew it from there.
I just opened my Etsy shop, House of Fluff, recently
to showcase my original art, paintings and sculpture
and hopefully reach people that have the same loves as I do.
My inspirations are many...
I love art deco, 1920's illustration, Erté.
Vintage pin up from the 1940's and 50's.
Mid Century mod style and also mod from the 1960's.
Dreamy, glamorous things like the Folies Bergere,
and my favorite show of all time The Crazy Horse, Paris. It is a living fantasy
I could watch it again and again… and I have, whenever I get the chance.
Well, the one in Las Vegas that is. It used to be called La Femme. I still have to visit the one in Paris some day.
I do all the art for Fluff. I am an art machine!… and a doll machine too!
Lately, I have been making pin up dolls you can hang on your wall inspired by vintage chalk ware. I call them Wall Dolls!
Thank you for visiting my shop! I hope you enjoy what you see.
Hoping you have a glamorous and fluffy day ;-)
