Announcement
Handcrafted in Pennsylvania, cherished worldwide. Welcome to House of Metalworks!
I'm Jill Italiano, and I forge jewelry from scratch. Starting with raw wire, sheet metal, and scraps, I turn them into pieces you'll want to wear forever. My studio is where all the magic happens – cutting, sawing, stamping, melting, soldering, casting, forging, stone setting, and enameling. It's a full-on creative playground. I work with several different metals - Sterling Silver being my favorite then brass, copper, aluminum and gold-filled.
What I love about this process is how hands-on it is. It's not just about the end piece but the journey there. Each method, from the first cut to the last polish, is done with care and a heap of passion. I'm all about making jewelry that's not just beautiful but also meaningful and sustainable. It's jewelry that tells a story, carries a vibe, and holds up to life's adventures.

Frequently asked questions
Production Time & When Will My Order Ship?
Please note we hand-make each piece to order.
Our current production time is approximately 2 weeks after the time of purchase.
Our 2-week production does not include delivery time, and the delivery speed varies depending on the shipping method you chose during checkout.
Symbols and Flip side Stampings
You can view our symbols in our symbol gallery.
We can stamp symbols on the flip side but are limited by the size of the charm for text. Contact us with any text requests to make sure they can be done.
To add a flip side stamping to your order go to our extras section and add the extra engraving charge to your shopping cart. Note what you would like on the flip side in the comments section of your order when checking out.

We ship via:
First Class Mail (default, inexpensive, slow)
Priority Mail

UPS Second Day
UPS Overnight
If your order is time sensitive we highly recommend USPS Priority or UPS shipping to ensure prompt delivery. We can't make any delivery guarantees on behalf of the shipping services. Once we hand the package to the carriers it is out of our hands.
If you would like to upgrade the shipping method you purchased contact us.
In an effort to reduce our carbon footprint we package our orders in minimalistic plastic free, biodegradable or recycled packaging.
If you want your order gift wrapped please choose "gift wrap" when checking out.
How do you know what ring size to order?
There is a lot of inconsistency
and precious little standardization in the jewelry industry.
Much like clothing and shoes, sizes can vary
depending on what tools a manufacturer uses for measurements.
We use a Durston PrecisionFit™ Steel Tapered Ring Mandrel
purchased from the professional jewelry supply company, Rio Grande.
If you are unsure of your ring size, we recommend getting sized by a jeweler or you can purchase one of our sizers in our shop.
If the fit of your order isn't perfect, we offer exchanges on non-custom pieces. Customers are responsible for shipping costs both ways.
About Gold Filled, Rose Gold Filled and Sterling
Gold-filled has an actual layer of karat gold, not just a microscopic film and unlike plated material, the gold layer will not wear or chip off. It has a tarnish-resistant surface but should be cleaned periodically with a polishing cloth to maintain shine.
Sterling silver is a durable lovely metal that can tarnish. It reacts with chemicals found in the air and the body. If you consistently wear your sterling pieces they will for the most part stay shiny. If you notice dulling just use a polishing cloth to brighten it back up. For more aggressive tarnish we recommend a silver polish paste.
About Brass, Copper, Bronze & Aluminum
Bronze, Brass, and Copper are durable, easy to clean, and will last for decades with proper care. They are great options for beautiful and affordable jewelry. One thing to keep in mind, the copper content of these metals can patina but wearing the pieces consistently during daily activities like washing hands and showering will help keep the pieces clean. They can easily be polished back up to a nice luster with a polishing cloth.
Aluminum is an affordable option to sterling silver. It is super light, hypoallergenic and it doesn’t rust or tarnish. It is easy to clean (a quick wash in soap and light use of a polishing cloth will do). Most aluminum is eco-friendly (recycled).
