Announcement
Hello, and welcome! All of the dragon figurines seen here are handmade originals, skillfully crafted from polymer clay with love and care. My little dragon sculptures average two inches tall, make great gifts, and are perfect for people who love dragons, fantasy, video games, and geek culture. I also offer a selection of resin-cast geeky dragon ornaments designed, crafted, and hand-painted entirely by myself - perfect for that Dungeons and Dragons or RPG fan in your life.
I love working on custom orders, so if you don't see the exact dragon that you want, feel free to get in touch by messaging me or by requesting a custom order from any of my listings. I'd love to work with you to bring your perfect dragon to life. Thanks for looking!

Most of my dragons are small and fit comfortably in your hand

I love experimenting with new techniques and materials. Mica powders are one of my favorites.

These mini takeout boxes are the perfect size for a dragon. I get lots of compliments about how cute my packaging is.

Here's where the magic happens! I have a workspace just for dragon-making. It's hardly ever this clean. ;)

I sell my dragons at a few anime conventions every year. My favorites are Anime Boston, Otakon, and Fanime.
Taking Over the World, One Dragon at a Time
I got my start in making clay dragons many years ago, when my high school math class was having a Yankee Gift Swap. I didn't have any ready-made gifts on hand, but I'd had some polymer clay lying around for a while, so I thought I'd make a clay dragon for the occasion. I was very into dragons at the time, but was also very new to sculpting, so as you might expect, the result did not look so good. However, I thought it was incredibly cute and proudly wrapped it up in a little box. Of course, the dragon was so horribly horrible that no one wanted it. It was thoroughly ridiculed and I left class that day in tears. Somehow though, this did not make me give up, but instead inspired me to practice my craft and to keep making better and better dragons.
My dragon-making was an on-and-off hobby for many years, but I decided to really start focusing on my skills in late 2012 and have since become a full-time artist. I run my own business, How Many Dragons?, and sell both online and in person at a number of conventions every year. I also accept commissions - I love custom work and collaborating with others! It fills me with joy that people want to own my artwork.
At this point, I have made several thousand clay dragons, so I consider myself an expert. I make all of my dragons by hand in my home studio in Washington state. My strengths include an eye for detail, more than a decade of sculpting experience, and a passion for my craft. Here's to the next thousand dragons, may they spread joy and cuteness around the globe!

Custom and personalized orders
I welcome custom orders for clay dragons! Custom work starts at $40 for a basic 2" tall dragon with simple horns and wings. Prices go up for additional materials, paint jobs, props, complexity, increased size, etc. Feel free to send me a convo to discuss details - I am more than happy to answer your questions and give price quotes.
Payment is required in advance for custom work. My turnaround time on a custom order is usually between 1-2 weeks. If you'd like to see more examples of my work, please visit my DeviantArt gallery (http://howmanydragons.deviantart.com), my Facebook page (https://www.facebook.com/howmanydragons) or my Instagram (@howmanydragons).
Sizing details
My dragons are very small! The average height of a sitting/standing dragon is about 2 inches (5 cm) tall. Dragons that are lying down are closer to 1.5 inches tall and 3 inches long. They will easily fit in one hand.
Mini-sized dragons, as seen in my dice pendants, are about 1.5 inches square.
I do offer larger, oversized dragons for custom orders, but I don't sculpt any larger than 3 inches tall.
Gift wrapping and packaging
I take great care to pack my dragons securely. Each figurine is carefully wrapped in tissue paper and placed in a small gift box, which is then secured in a larger shipping box with additional padding to ensure safe delivery to your doorstep. If your item has been damaged in transit, please contact me ASAP with photos so that I may assess the damage and determine further steps.
If you are sending your purchase directly to a gift recipient and would like to include a gift message, just let me know in your checkout note and I will include a hand-written gift note.
Care instructions
Polymer clay is a delicate medium, so please treat your dragon(s) gently. Avoid dropping your dragon on hard surfaces and keep it out of the reach of children and pets.
If a dragon gets dusty, you can clean it with a damp cloth. The glaze is water resistant so it can take a bit of water, but don't leave your dragon submerged for long and don't use any cleaning products on it.
Wholesale availability
I offer wholesale options for my dice pendants. Minimum purchase is one dozen pieces. Please contact me to discuss further.
Shipping & processing time
I will ship premade ready-to-ship orders within 1-2 business days of receiving payment. Custom work and made-to-order items may take up to 2 weeks to dispatch, but if I finish them before the ship by date, I will send them sooner. I cannot guarantee shipping arrival dates because USPS does not guarantee those dates. I do, however, guarantee that my orders will be in the mail on or before the ship by date shown on your order receipt, barring any extenuating circumstances.
