Après quelques mois de tests de confort, de robustesse et de lavabilité à l'hôpital local du NHS, j'ai ouvert ma petite boutique HowellmadeDevon, ici sur Etsy. Cela me permet de partager mes chapeaux avec vous, chers clients.
Ces dernières années, j'ai ajouté à ma collection de nombreux modèles et styles de chapeaux. Le chapeau élastique original est toujours présent, et des modèles à fermoirs réglables ont récemment rejoint ma collection. Je propose également des modèles avec attache dans le dos, et j'ai même ajouté quelques chouchous assortis à la boutique.
Je sais que vous appréciez tous que vos chapeaux soient parfaitement ajustés et confortables. Comme vous avez tous des têtes différentes, mes chapeaux peuvent nécessiter quelques ajustements. Comme tous les chapeaux sont fabriqués sur commande, je peux les adapter à vos besoins personnels ; n'hésitez pas à me communiquer vos mensurations lors de votre commande.
Je suis également en mesure de proposer un service de personnalisation allant jusqu'à deux lignes de texte.
Le succès de ma petite boutique a été une agréable surprise. J'adore dénicher de nouveaux tissus qui, je pense, vous plairont. La couture étant une passion de toujours, les confectionner dans mon atelier de couture de jardin, ici dans le Devon, est un vrai plaisir.
I started making scrub hats when my ODP daughter found it impossible to buy a scrub hat that would be comfortable all day and ensure her long hair was kept safely tucked away.
We worked together to get the perfect fit and it wasn't long before her colleagues were sending me their orders!
After a few months of testing for comfort, robustness and wash-ability at the local NHS hospital, I opened my little shop HowellmadeDevon, here on Etsy. This has allowed me to share my hats with you, my lovely customers.
Over the last few years I've managed to add many different designs and different style hats to my inventory. The original elasticated hat is always there and has recently been joined by hats with adjustable toggle fastenings. I also offer hats with a tie-back in some designs and have also thrown into the shop the occasional matching scrunchy.
Now, I know that you all like your hats to fit perfectly and feel comfortable and as you all have different sized heads my hats may need the odd tweak here and there. As all hats are made to order I am able to make adjustments to your personal requirements - just message me with your measurements at the time of ordering.
I am also able to offer a personalisation service of up to two lines of text.
The success of my little shop has been a lovely surprise. I absolutely love searching for new fabrics which I think you'll love and, as sewing has been a life-long passion of mine, making them all up in my garden sewing room, here in Devon, is such a pleasure.
