Humandees

In mid-2021, I already had the idea for the zodiac cuddly toys in my head.

I noticed that two of my close friends were planning to have a baby and I was already thinking about what I could give them. I knew that at least one of them was interested in zodiac signs.
After searching all the well-known platforms for zodiac cuddly toys, I was quite disappointed that there is nothing on the market where you can tell which zodiac sign it is based on the figure.
There were some teddy bears, rabbits, and even llamas (which were “in” at the time) that had the words “Libra,” “Sagittarius,” etc. sewn onto their fur, but I didn’t like that.
So I asked my mom, godmother and grandma if they could sew or crochet something like that. Unfortunately (or thank God in retrospect 😊) they declined due to time constraints.

These were (unknowingly at the time) the first “pre-labor pains” of the Humandees 😊

Mitte 2021 hatte ich schon die Idee zu den Sternzeichenkuscheltieren im Kopf.

Ich habe mitbekommen, wie zwei enge Freundinnen von mir in der „Baby-Planung“ waren und schon damals überlegt, was ich ihnen denn wohl schenken könnte. Ich wusste zumindest von der einen, dass sie sich für Sternzeichen interessiert.
Nachdem ich alle bekannten Plattformen nach Sternzeichenkuscheltieren abgesucht hab, war ich ziemlich enttäuscht, dass es nichts auf dem Markt gibt, wo man anhand der Figur erkennt, um welches Sternzeichen es sich handelt.
Es gab einige Teddys, Hasen, oder auch Lamas (die waren zu der Zeit „in“), auf deren Fell die jeweiligen Worte „Waage“, „Schütze“ usw. eingenäht waren, aber das hat mir nicht gefallen.
Also hab´ ich meine Mama, Patin und Oma gefragt, ob sie nicht vielleicht etwas in der Art nähen oder häkeln könnten. Sie haben leider (oder im Nachhinein Gott sei Dank 😊) aus Zeitgründen abgelehnt.

Das waren (damals noch unwissentlich) die ersten „Vorwehen“ der Humandees 😊
