HUNTER & CO. DESIGNS Specializes in original typographic and geometric rubber stamps with a modern aesthetic, and is the synthesis of two of my passions, printmaking and typography. Combining my minimalist aesthetic and passion for DIY, I see my stamps as a tool for creative expression. My line of wedding stamps was created with both the bride and groom in mind, and is an alternative to the mainstream as well as an opportunity to participate in the making process!
As a printmaker I have experimented with techniques ranging from lithography to screenprinting and block printing. I enjoy carving my own rubber blocks for creating prints, and am intrigued by the idea of creating repeating patterns using these stamps. No two patterns are exactly alike.
As a designer, I have a profound obsession with mid-century design and retro typography. My work is very much inspired by minimalism and abstraction. Designing simple, modern rubber stamps is how I combine these two passions, and create the possibility for others to explore printmaking utilizing my designs.
My stamps are laser etched by a small rubber stamp engraving company and are 100% made in the USA.
