Since the beginnings in Punta del Este in the 70s, and then in our workshop in Ibiza, we have designed and elaborated jewelry in silver. We also work the Bronze, Iron and Enamels on fire. It has been a long and thorough learning. We have always experienced our own techniques and a free use of materials, patinas and textures. We exhibited our designs and small collections of that time in markets and craft fairs. Thus, the origin of Ibiza Store is in the Mercado del Puerto de Ibiza -the oldest on the island- from the 80s to today.
Since 1995, our jewels are made in small workshops in Kathmandu and Rajasthan, places of great wealth of natural stones and tradition in goldsmithing. Our experience in craft jewelry workshops, makes us value and appreciate the work of our goldsmiths fairly. We stay true to them with a family relationship, trust and respect.
The long stays and the teamwork in the realization and finishing of our pieces -we guide and participate in the whole process- result in unique and timeless designs, which year after year, we contribute to a unique collection.
With our travels over the years touring India, Tibet, Nepal and Southeast Asia, we have discovered the incredible variety and richness in the artisanal tradition of regions with deep spiritual roots. The continuous search for ancient and original pieces in small villages, desert areas and direct contact with its people, define a collection that brings together treasures from different cultures with our own designs. You will find ancient silver pendants of tribal origin, adapted reproductions of ancient Afghan and Tibetan rings, pieces that will make you dream and travel. Small jewels with a deep and mystical sense to which you will give your own meaning.
Ibiza Store is inspired by ethnic, baroque, tribal influences, the search for unique pieces, the infinite curiosity in travel and what it brings us most, contact with a loyal public, which visits us in Barcelona and Ibiza every summer.
Desde los inicios en Punta del Este en los años 70, y luego en nuestro taller en Ibiza, hemos diseñado y elaborado joyas en plata. También trabajamos el Bronce, Hierro y Esmaltes a fuego. Ha sido un prolongado y minucioso aprendizaje. Siempre hemos experimentado técnicas propias y un uso libre de materiales, pátinas y texturas. Exponíamos nuestros diseños y pequeñas colecciones de entonces en mercados y ferias artesanales. Así, el origen de Ibiza Store está en el Mercado del Puerto de Ibiza -el más antiguo de la isla- desde los años 80 hasta hoy.
Desde 1995, nuestras joyas son realizadas en pequeños talleres de Kathmandú y Rajasthán, lugares de gran riqueza de piedras naturales y tradición en orfebrería. Nuestra experiencia en talleres de joyería artesanal, nos hace valorar y apreciar el trabajo de nuestros orfebres de manera justa. Las largas estadías y el trabajo de equipo en la realización y acabado de nuestras piezas -nosotros guiamos y participamos en todo el proceso- dan como resultado diseños únicos y atemporales, que año tras año, aportamos a una colección singular.
Con nuestros viajes a lo largo de los años recorriendo India, Tibet, Nepal y el Sudeste Asiático, hemos descubierto la increíble variedad y riqueza en la tradición artesanal de regiones con profundas raíces espirituales. La búsqueda contínua de piezas antiguas y originales en pequeños pueblos, zonas desérticas y el contacto directo con sus gentes, definen una colección que agrupa tesoros de diferentes culturas con nuestros propios diseños.
