Custom orders are non-refundable, cannot be cancelled after payment is received, and cannot be exchanged. The nature of our work is highly demanding on resources and time, so if we make something specifically for you, sales are final.

Please note that it is up to you to provide measurements exactly to the method we request in the format we require to ensure accuracy of pattern making and final product fit.
We are not responsible for errors in the supplied specs or measurements, especially if they are not in the format we request. Measure twice, so we will only cut once.

We do our best with extreme accuracy to create pieces exactly to the specs provided and guarantee that our product will be completed to the highest possible standard.

Details are shown on most of our listings indicating the sizes. It is up to you to take consideration if those sizes are suitable for your use. We cannot know all possible purposes intended for the items we make, so please take care to check your phone size, bust and waist, and any other variables prior to ordering.

We are more than happy to discuss the sizing with you and encourage all our clients to make contact first and ensure the item is suitable for their body type and usage.

Refunds or exchanges are not available due to an item simply not ‘fitting’ as intended. Many of our pieces are generic sizing, though we do make a variety of sizes for most of our popular pieces.

We use the highest quality materials available, and masterful craftsmen to build each piece. Even with the best on the market, there are possibilities for wear and tear occurring due to excessive use. Exotic snake and lizard skins are delicate by nature. Fine lambskin also requires maintenance. We ensure a stronger product by backing our leathers with synthetic materials to give a thicker skin overall.

The reality is that various environments have different affects on leather and synthetics. We are building each piece in moist tropical conditions in Bali, Indonesia. The leather can be subjected to dry conditions. Please take care of your leather investment. Use products like Leather Honey Conditioner. We UV protect prior to shipping!

Genuine brass is an alloy. Our hardware is custom casted from the highest quality brass available to us. It’s supplied by a US company that ensures environmentally sound beads for our casting. The nature of brass is that it contains a percentage of Copper. Copper gets a lovely green patina over time due to oxidation. This is normal. If you prefer a shiny gold appearance, polishing products are available such as Brasso.

Carefully apply it to a clean cotton cloth and then to the metal parts, avoiding getting the liquid on the leather. Follow instructions from the product you choose. This should enhance the look of the brass.

If you are like me, you may actually prefer the patina aged/antique look. Enjoy the natural aging effects!

Return shipping is the responsibility of the buyer, if refund is agreed between buyer and Idol Wares, we will first check the item is unused when we receive it. The money will be refunded minus any damages or costs for repair to us.

The return postage will not be included in the refund. We refund for the item and the original postage if this has been agreed upon.

Returns can only be made within 7 days of receiving the item. Generally custom orders, made to order or discounted (on sale) items are non-refundable.

We take great care in our products so manufacture defects are highly unlikely.
