From building art to sketch art
Iezzi Design was founded by Peter and Florence, an architect and an art historian.
Peter started sketching architecture and cityscape on his first trip to Europe in the early 2000s as part of his college architectural study tour. Daily he would sketch streets, squares, and buildings. Not only was it an eye-opening experience, the trip was also a turning point for him. Never before had he looked at spaces as he did during those few weeks in Europe. He has since always sketched when he travels. Through sketching, he develops a deeper love and a better understanding for the buildings he sees and the streets he walks.
Florence has been so impressed by Peter's sketches. Coupled with the belief that art should be inseparable from life, she came up with the idea of printing Peter's sketches onto personal and home objects.
