Announcement    We sell handmade and hand-dyed art, textiles and clothing, often made out of Ikat fabric- handwoven silk and cotton fabrics hand-dyed in amazing colors and patterns, which represent our culture from Tajikistan.

We are young parents of four, who recently moved to New York during the pandemic. When we were all in lockdown, we decided to start a small business on Etsy to help sustain our family, and to share our artwork. The craft is our family heritage and our way of capturing the rich and beautiful culture of Tajikistan, the country we are from, and have been excited to introduce these special products and artwork to Americans.

We prepare our products with different art techniques, like embroidery, sewing, and a combination of fabric with leather.

We are located in New York, and will send your order in 1 to 3 business days, and are also happy to take commissions- such as pillows or wall hangings for your home, wallets, bags, masks, for work or school, and beautiful scarves or dresses for summer or winter. Please reach out with any questions or ideas! And thank you for shopping and sharing.

The Story of Ikat Room

We are young parents of four children who recently moved to New York during the pandemic. When we were all in lockdown, we decided to start a small business on Etsy to help sustain our family and share our artwork. The craft is our family heritage and our way of capturing the rich and beautiful culture of Tajikistan, the country we are from. The products are mostly made out of Ikat fabric- handwoven silk and cotton fabrics hand-dyed in amazing colors and patterns. We prepare our products with different techniques, like embroidery, sewing, and a combination of fabric with leather.

We are located in Brooklyn, and can send your order in 1 to 3 business days. We also love doing commissions if you would like something else made with one of the fabrics or designs you see on our site. We hope you enjoy this page and our products!
