Making Perfect Creations from Imperfect Materials
In life, nothing is perfect. We see this all the time, at home, at work, with our finances, our relationships, physically, emotionally, and spiritually. But that doesn't mean we should settle for anything less. Just because our lives aren’t the definition of “perfect,” doesn’t mean we aren’t awesome or living authentically. Hill and I believe the same is true with stones and jewelry. Just because a stone has flaws or a piece of jewelry isn’t made of the most precious metal, doesn’t mean it isn’t beautiful. It may in fact, be the most beautiful thing someone has ever seen, or be that one stone or piece of jewelry they have always imagined. Just because something’s not the traditional version of perfect doesn’t necessarily mean it won’t be perfect for that one person.
We have seen some amazing stones that were classified as far from “perfect,” both natural and synthetic. They had a personality that you just wouldn’t find in another. The imperfections are what make them unique, beautiful, and extraordinary. Just like us! Here at Imperfect2Perfect, our mission is to make beautiful things available to as many people as possible. We hope to achieve that with multiple pricing tiers and a wide variety of jewelry styles. In putting beauty in the hands of many, we also hope to provide assistance to many, as well. To do this, we will always have a featured charity we will donate 10% of all Imperfect2Perfect proceeds to. We are so grateful to have found an outlet to express our creativity, we want the opportunity to pay it forward and help others find the happiness they truly deserve.
It has always been true love for Gina and her moissanite. For Hill, her love of nature pulled her to the deepest depths of all things Dremel. The epiphany of putting the two together seemed like a no-brainer from its inception. We just want to bring our love of moissanite, affordable metals, and natural materials to the every day person. Everyone deserves something splendidly sparkly. Today our new little Etsy shop is no where near what Hill and I envision it to be someday. But with luck, a lot of late nights, questing sessions, creativity, and time management, we hope to develop passionate customers who will watch us evolve into the shop we aspire to be.
