Creativity keeps me sane!
It all started with a pair of Gingher embroidery scissors I got as a gift from my sister years ago. Well it ACTUALLY started when I was little and my mom taught me how to sew simple little dresses on her old sewing machine, but I never dreamed I would make a bussines out of my passion.
Over the last few years I have refined and revised exactly what I wanted to make, but that is half the fun!
Since cotton shrinks and embroidery does not, we take the time to preshrink our diapers before they are embroidered. Our burp cloths are made out of high quality 6 ply commercial diaper service diapers and they will get softer and fluffier with every wash.
My embroidery has also allowed me to give back. A portion of my proceeds is donated to the Savage Walkers Relay for Life team. The Savage Walkers is a team comprised of mostly family and a few friends, started in memory of my Uncle Jim, who died of cancer in 2006. We participate in the Relay in Phoenixville, PA each May.
I hope that you get as much enjoyment out of my burp cloths as I get by making them.
