Indigo Gallery Design presents vintage jewelry, handmade jewelry, and accessories.
I like collecting jewelry and making it. I believe that to provide the best quality vintage product to you, ready to wear, I clean each piece which entails washing, polishing, repair etc., so that they are ready to wear.
I like to think that the artist who originally produced these little gems would appreciate bringing them back to their original beauty.
Also, the shop recently added a circle lighting system for taking photos, I like the light it provides, but it also adds distortion to the photos as it appears to bend the subject matter so that the gems, beads and metal look bent. THEY ARE NOT.
Because of the reflective nature of gold and silver any discoloration, distortion, you may see in the photographs is from a camera angle and is not on the actual piece itself. Glad to provide additional photos upon request.
Gemstones are tested using a Presidium Duo II indicator, also a PurtTest P7 for verification of all gems. These instruments indicate types of gems but not whether they have been altered by heat, dye pressure, etc. They have been tested and described to the best of my ability. Gold and silver are acid tested for verification.
