Living in the Northwoods with a need to create.
Hello,
I'm Erin. I come from a long line of women who loved a variety of crafts, though I am the only knitter.
I picked up my first pair of needles in my late teens. Life got busy, marriage, kids, I didn't do much yarn related. After making an endless supply of scarves, I began to challenge myself to learning one new thing a year. My interest was renewed when my oldest was a toddler. Creating items to keep my family cozy became my mission. I realized I could make them just the right size, look, and feel for each one. The perfect wool for my husbands hat, and the softest blend for my extremely sensitive baby. I was hooked. I was soon making hats, scarves, and mittens.
As a stay at home mom, I wanted to be able to contribute but without sacrificing time with my children. My parents encouraged my to put a few knits in their store. To my surprise, people bought them! It's a scary thing to put your handmade works on display! After a few years, my sister in law offered to share a booth at a local coffee shop. We have been there since April 2016. A big thank you to all our community for supporting us! I would love to make something to keep your family cozy this winter!
