About the Birds
Allison and Marilyn are the Denton, TX based artists that create the affordable, handmade jewelry of Infinite Blue Bird. They have been good friends for years and share many common interests, including the love of unique jewelry and accessories. Having logged many hours together at garage sales and thrift stores, amassing quite an assortment of goodies, the two decided to put their collections to use as a creative business outlet. Their consistently fresh compositions fall into a multitude of genres including: modern, boho, classic, vintage, and retro. Both ladies have degrees in interior design and full time jobs by day, but certainly don’t mind the after hours work they put in to formulate and construct their designs. The collaboration between the two is a strong weave between minimalism (Allison) and that of a bit more flair (Marilyn), which in turn produces greater diversity in product for the consumer. Their inspiration comes in many forms. The way a shadow falls, the outline on a construction sign or the pattern stacked pots and pans can spur a whole fleet of design ideas. It’s all about viewing life with an objective eye which makes inspiration truly endless with these two. They have been featured on several blogs and have participated in the local Etsy bazaars & handmade harvests, with hopes to continue on this track and share their designs with many more. Marilyn and Allison are eager to see what the future holds for Infinite Blue Bird.
