Big Love and Avoiding Prison Time
Join me on my journey to help you create Silhouette & Cricut projects using my original SVG design files for the mom, baby, toddler and kid in your life! Forget design time and move on to creating funny shirts and accessories using your vinyl cut machine!
So how did it all begin, you ask?? Well, it all started when I got pregnant with baby boy #3 after I raising two of those creatures into adulthood. I had lived a big life filled with big love and was approaching 40 (Yikes! 40!) and an empty nest when I realized I wasn’t done being a mommy to little ones. So I asked to be blessed again and He answered! Little Bear was born not too long ago and, along with his Daddy, completed my little family.
But… something was missing. You see, I had always enjoyed a crafty life and, after late Baby #3’s hostile takeover of my craft room sanctuary, creativity was on the downturn in terms of space, time and money. Nevertheless, I needed a way to express myself to keep me from going on a murderous rampage (I know you mommies will understand this… You love that little family but sometimes you have sympathy for the wild animal mamas that eat their young and the praying mantis that destroys her mate. Yeah so, I digress… on to that expression of creativity…) My greatest crafty treasure has always been my Silhouette machine! I love it’s versatility with design and decided what better way than to share my funny, sassy, and snarky designs with you! Voila, Ink Pie was born! I love everything about Ink Pie and I've finally found the one thing that allows me to be creative in every way, gives me a side hustle for fun, and helps others along in their creative journey. It’s a win, folks, all around.
So, in the space between girlfriends and graduations for the big boys and making baby food and singing lullabies for Little Bear, all my designs are created with big love in my tiny home studio in Georgia. OK, so the word “studio” may be stretching the limits of my space. My studio is literally the hallway to the entrance of my home. But a girl’s gotta do what a girl’s gotta do.
Y’all have fun and Craft On…
