Me and my Mt. Rainier Original
One of my Fall Market set ups. Each time I set things up, I’m figuring out a little bit more what works and what I like!
I love seeing all these paper things in one place! This is a practice set up for a market last spring.

A little bit of history...

When I was 12, I took informal art lessons from a sweet, retired woman who was a family friend. Although her kindness, teaching, and encouragement stuck with me, it wasn't until I was 34 that I realized that maybe I really could draw and maybe it was my favorite thing to do! I have been very inspired by Gary Larson of "The Far Side"--drawing goofy chickens was probably my most constant form of art practice for a few years there. :) These days, I can't get away from drawing Mountains (especially Mt Rainier!), trees, and seas. I am so inspired by this beautiful corner of the world I live in.
