Channeling Inner Light Through Tie-Dye Fabric
Durante casi dos décadas, me he dedicado a plasmar la belleza de la naturaleza en telas teñidas a mano. La naturaleza se expresa a través de patrones y colores aparentemente infinitos, y mi trabajo es un intento de participar en ese desarrollo, creando arte para vestir que refleja tanto la individualidad como la energía compartida.
Mi viaje comenzó en 2005, cuando descubrí por primera vez fotos icónicas de la actuación de Grateful Dead en 1981 en el Teatro Griego. La complejidad, el movimiento y la escala del telón de fondo tie-dye de Courtenay Pollack me inspiraron profundamente. Ver lo que era posible despertó en mí una pasión que perduró hasta el día de hoy: explorar este medio.
Unos años después, descubrir la obra de Alex Grey amplió mi visión aún más. Su expresión de color, energía e interconexión influyó en mi forma de abordar el teñido hoy en día: no solo como decoración, sino como una forma de expresar la energía sutil que todos llevamos dentro.
Cada pieza que creo se tiñe lentamente a mano en pequeños lotes, lo que da como resultado prendas únicas diseñadas para resaltar la Luz Interior de cada persona que las usa.

For nearly two decades, I’ve been dedicated to the practice of translating nature’s beauty into hand-dyed fabric. Nature expresses itself through seemingly infinite patterns and colors, and my work is an attempt to participate in that unfolding — creating wearable art that reflects both individuality and shared energy.
My journey began in 2005 when I first encountered iconic photos from the Grateful Dead’s 1981 performance at the Greek Theater. The intricacy, movement, and scale of Courtenay Pollack’s tie-dye backdrop deeply inspired me. Seeing what was possible sparked a lifelong passion to explore the medium myself.
A few years later, discovering the artwork of Alex Grey expanded my vision even further. His expression of color, energy, and interconnectedness influenced how I approach dye work today — not just as decoration, but as a way to express the subtle energy we all carry.
Every piece I create is dyed slowly by hand in small batches, resulting in one-of-a-kind garments designed to highlight the Inner Light within each person who wears them.
