Artist Painter turned Lampwork Artist

My art studio transitioned a few years ago, from mostly large scale abstract paintings, to small scale glass Lampwork beads. I've been an artist for about 25 years, and love all things artistic.
For many years I supported my family creating large commercial paintings for Hotels and Corporate spaces. Then 2009 came rolling around, and my painting business fell into a hole. After a couple of years of trying to dig it back out, I ended up with lots of art inventory and very few sales.
At that point I knew I needed to stay creative, but on a smaller scale and with a different medium. I bought a Lampwork starter kit, and through some hard work, trial and error, I found my way to loving making these little beauties.
Although I still hope to rekindle my painting passion, I will never stop obsessing over my torch and making glass beads. It has truly been a life saver of body and soul. Thank you for taking a look at my shop, and getting to know me a little bit better.
