My new-found gifts....now available to you!
Thirteen plus years ago, I was involved in a horrific head-on collision which left me with permanent mobility issues. Since then, my right leg had to be amputated below the knee. But, because I am a Christian and know well that all things will be turned to good for those who love the Lord, I am always seeking the next leg (pardon the pun,) of the plan that so many reminded me He has for my life. About a year after that crash, the Lord seemed to almost audibly tell me "you must paint." So I picked up some basic supplies and just began! The paintings you see are what came from the brush onto the canvas. My artistic gift has been expanded in an even more recent interest born from a love of nature and God's creation. Since my amputation, I have discovered gourd art...and, oh boy, do I LOVE it! And now miniature painting on river pebbles and also, working with live-edge slabs of local wood which ends up tables and signs. God also introduced me to my husband who is perfect for me. He's kinda quirky, shy with others, creative in his own right and patient as all get-out with this somewhat impatient, disorganized artist-wife.
Anyway, that's my story, and I'm sticking to it! Love you Rick, love you Jesus, love you all my friends and family!
