Anche se ci pensavo da tempo, ho deciso davvero di aprire il mio negozio quando sapevo di aver perso il lavoro. Quello che fino ad allora era solo un hobby è diventato un progetto con grande entusiasmo. Questo è successo nel 2008. Ora, sono passati alcuni anni, ricordo con affetto la mia prima vendita e le prime parole di congratulazioni per il mio lavoro. Questo mi ha dato un sacco di incoraggiamento ad andare avanti.
Adoro il colore e giocarci. Il feltro, il mio materiale preferito, diventa una plastilina dai colori spettacolari. Mi piace fare una passeggiata rilassante, scattare foto degli alberi e ammirare gli edifici. Mi piacciono le illustrazioni e i fumetti e amo i film.
Sì, l'ispirazione arriva quando guardo il mondo intorno a me e lascio volare la mia immaginazione.
Tutto inizia con un disegno.
Quando arriva un'idea, devo scriverla il più velocemente possibile, un piccolo schizzo, una frase, qualcosa per non dimenticarla. Porto sempre un taccuino, nella mia borsa o nella mia auto. A volte ha uno sviluppo rapido o spesso watt per alcune settimane. Forse ci provo più tardi, fino a quando non ottengo qualcosa che mi soddisfi davvero.
Ho una mappa del mondo dove segno i luoghi in cui viaggiano le mie creazioni. So che non andrò mai nella maggior parte di quei posti, ecco perché mi piace cercare immagini dei paesi in cui sono andati. Mi piace sapere che il mio lavoro è così lontano. Questo è affascinante per me.
Sono così felice quando arrivano a destinazione e le persone mi dicono che hanno sorriso quando li vedono.

Although I had been thinking about it for some time, I really decided to open my shop when I knew I had lost my job. What until then has just been a hobby became a project with great enthusiasm. That happened in 2008. Now, a few years have passed, I fondly remember my first sale and the first congratulations words for my work. This gave me a lot of encouragement to keep going.
I love color and playing with it. Felt, my favorite material, becomes a spectacularly colored plasticine. I like going for a relaxing walk, taking photos of the trees and admiring buildings. I like illustrations and comics and I love films.
Yes, Inspiration comes when I look at the world around me and let my imagination fly.
Everything starts with a drawing.
When an idea comes, I have to write it down as fast as I can, a small sketch, a phrase, something not to forget it. I always carry a notebook, in my bag or in my car. Sometimes it has a quick development or it often watts for a few weeks. Maybe I try it later, until I get something that really satisfies me.
I have a world map where I mark the places where my creations travel. I know I’m never going to go to most of those places, that´s why I like to look for images of the countries where they have gone. I like knowing that my work is so far away. This is fascinating for me.
I get so happy when they arrive ay their destination and people tell me that they have smiled when they see them.
