I LOVE this sweater! Got it in grey and resisted for months to not buy another one. I finally justified purchasing it in black because I wear the grey one so much. You can literally throw it in your bag and it will still be good as new. Plus it's machined washable and so well made.

My lovely hand woven basket for yarn

How it all began

I opened Iren Knits on August 5, 2014. It all began as a dream, some day to have a shop where I can sell handmade clothes and accessories. My husband supported me and I’m so thankful for that. His biggest passion is woodworking and mine is knitting and crochet. He is a fireman making wood shawl pins in his free time. I’m a housewife who is designing and knitting all day long. We have two gorgeous children who have helped me a lot with opening an ETSY shop. My daughter is helping me run the shop. I love having a business that involves all my family. I'm thankful for them!

I quit job 10 years ago and that was maybe the best decision in my life. After that I had enough time to work on my knitting skills. My grandmother thought me how to knit when I was a little girl, but now many years later I am using the skills she gave me. It all started out as a hobby, but now I’m doing it for a living.

Maybe a year before opening my shop I discovered www.etsy.com and I loved the idea of doing something that I really enjoy.

All the products are handmade by me or my husband. Iren Knits items are made with great care and attention to detail and high quality materials. Customer satisfaction is our first priority, so if you have any problems with the ordered item or you need any extra info about any concerns you may have feel free to write to me.
