Hello and welcome to Irish Expressions!

After a few months off to clear my mind, I have decided to add some different items to my shop. I have always loved crafting and am forever teaching myself new things so for this new chapter I am going to be adding hand crocheted beanies, scarfs and different styles of gloves to my collection. I just love bright colors so expect to see a variety of plain and patterned items!

As I finish each item and add them to my store, I will start taking custom orders, offering different yarns to choose from. I hope to see you soon!

The Making of Irish Expressions

After making my first few necklaces and bracelets and exhausting all my friends and family members with jewelry gifts, I knew I would have to find some way of selling my pieces. Low and behold in a new bead magazine that just hit the shelves, I saw a story about a local jewelry designer who had listed her pieces on a website called Etsy. I made a note and when I got home explored this new website. It has taken me a few years to find my feet and I still have a lot to learn but I enjoy the whole process of first making the jewelry, waiting for the perfect sunny day to take my photographs, and then the final stage of listing them on my webpage.

I can only hope that as I learn and create more items that I continue to encourage those searching for that perfect gift to choose Irish Expressions as their go to 'Gift Shop'.
