Absolutely gorgeous! Looks wonderful in my little boy's nursery alongside the Heart of the Sea print. Thank you, I am so pleased with this beautiful piece.

Love it so much I ordered it twice. I had this on a wall where it got daily sun for 3+ years. Still looked good, but thought colors might be muted. I moved to a new home and wanted a new one since I ordered another print from this artist to hang hear it. Colors are great. Going to take old print to enjoy in my office. I have also ordered other prints from this shop. They don’t disappoint

Illustration & Photography

IrishShells is my little corner of the world where my imagination is Queen!

My photography is inspired by everything around me - nature especially. If I could take a picture of everything I would! I have this idea that my camera is like a time machine and every time I take a photo I'm stopping time for just that little bit - it's like magic! Nothing compares to looking at a photo and remembering the story behind it. I want those stories and images to live on, hopefully making you remember some story of your own that's been long forgotten.

Art & Illustration...
I can't remember a time when I didn't draw, whether it be on napkins at dinner or while taking notes in school (I took a few notes too!). I even lose a lot of sleep because of art - my mind does its best art right before I fall asleep.
I used to try to stick to rules and search for "my style", but then I finally gave up and decided to let the art be what it wanted to be, even if it wasn't what I thought it should be. Since then I have found myself exploring my ideas and painting more often.
My art is about the memory of things, not always the way they are exactly, but the way my imagination sees them.

Frequently asked questions

Care instructions

All of my prints are archive quality 150 years or more, but to maintain this it is best to mat and frame your new art piece and place it out of direct sun.
If you don't plan to display it right away, placing it in some type of dark storage is best.

Is an invoice included in my order?

Invoices are not included in the package itself in order to save paper, while one is emailed to the buyer. If you would like a paper copy of your invoice please let me know in the 'notes to seller' section at the time of purchase

Custom and personalized orders

I do take custom artwork orders at times, it all depends on availability - contact me!
I don't make custom changes to art prints though, so I can't change the gender of a character, hair color, or any coloring of the prints - sorry!

How can I keep up to date with new artwork from you?

I have a mailing list going for monthly updates, just message me with your email address and I'll add you to the list.

How are your art prints shipped?

All of my art prints are shipped as secure as possible!

Prints 8x10 or smaller are shipped in a clear protective sleeve, and tucked in a flat, rigid mailer and sent via first class mail, and first class international mail. I usually get prints printed and packed within 3-5 days and shipping takes 3-5 days within the U.S. and up to 2 weeks to Canada, Europe and Australia.

Larger prints, 11x14 and larger, will be rolled between acid-free tissue paper and tucked into a rigid mailing tube for extra protection. Large prints can take 3-5 days to prep for shipping. Shipping time is the same for mailing tubes as the flat envelopes above.
