I rarely leave negative reviews, but this was one of the most frustrating online purchases I've ever made. The item was significantly delayed, and I began receiving unsolicited phone calls requesting additional customs payment that initially felt like a scam. When I contacted Etsy for help, I spent over an hour with support, received conflicting information, and was ultimately told to work directly with DHL myself. My frustration wasn't the customs fee—it was that neither the seller nor Etsy took ownership of helping resolve the problem. I purchased through Etsy expecting a smooth buying experience, not to spend hours navigating international shipping issues on my own. Unfortunately, this experience has convinced me not to purchase through Etsy again.
