Jalal Leather Designs set off the manufacture of genuine Italian leather belts, handbags, travel-belts, purses, wallets, key rings and jewellery in the early eighties and went on to trade in Camden Lock Market in London (UK) in the early nineties, with the innovative concept “Made While U Wait”.
As a matter of fact Jalaleather was the first of its kind to offer customers the option to select themselves the colour, the width - from pre-cut leather straps – and the buckle of a belt which was then assembled in a few minutes before their very eyes. A practice that enabled an interactive exchange between trader and client as well as provided an insight for the novice into the world of miscellaneous leather good making.
The hand-making of more consequent items, such as leather garments, cushions, bags and boxes, is assured from our workshop in Central London .

All our leathers are directly imported from Italy by our supplier in London , our buckles are fabricated in the US, Spain and in the UK . All the operations performed on our products are accomplished in London .
