Do we provide free shipping?
We do occasionally provide free shipping on certain items. These items are clearly indicated.
It is difficult to provide free shipping on all orders when the shipping costs even across the continental US can vary by over $20.
Generally, vendors who do provide 'free shipping' do so by upping their prices or have volumes that allow them this extra perk. Many Etsy vendors are small business owners, like us, and don't have the volumes necessary to support free shipping without changing their pricing structure to recover the costs.
We prefer to be transparent and price our items and shipping separately.
Care instructions
Many of these vintage items were made before modern dishwashers with ultra high heat were made. As a result we encourage hand washing vintage housewares.
Shipping Overage Refunds
We use the Etsy shipping calculator and it is generally very accurate. That said, we've found that combined shipping on multiple items from our shop can sometimes result in overcharges. We do refund these overcharges if over $2.00 once we've determined the actual shipping charge.

We do not accept returns unless there has been a mistake in the item description. If you find this to be the case, please let us know and we will work with you.
