Just to note, these pins are made from natural goat horn with no finish or coating applied, so what you're seeing is the horn itself. It's polished, but naturally has a softer sheen rather than a high shine - part of what makes each piece unique, since no two pieces of horn are ever quite alike. Exactly as expected , I absolutely love it it matches/blends perfectly with my sofa and chairs draped over the sides. I couldn’t wait to wrap myself up in it the evening i received it . JJ Textile is a small independent business based in Catton, UK. We create cosy blankets, cushion covers and throws all in our original designs.

With extensive experience in the textile industry Jurate (“Jacky”) Jakstaite has been designing and selling her own products in the UK and overseas since 2012. Each year she draws inspiration from her new-found home environment of Great Britain as well as from her experiences working for other well-established, overseas textile companies to create fresh, fun additions to her collection.

Jurate has a longstanding relationship with trusted manufacturers in her native Lithuania who carefully and skilfully bring her designs to life in either pure wool or blends of wool and cotton. New relationships with UK manufacturers are also beginning to take flight.

The products are stocked by many independent businesses all over the UK, as well as by some larger retailers and are exported as far overseas as Japan. The blankets and throws have also been keeping customers cosy in hotels and on many outdoor café and wine bar terraces. The products make very special corporate gifts and bespoke designs are also possible (minimum order applies). The wool fashion lines are available exclusively through the J.J. Textile website, where you can also purchase any of the beautiful products on offer direct from the designer.

Are your Products Soft?

Softness is subjective, so individual perceptions of fabric softness can vary. However, we've received extensive feedback that our products are indeed soft. If you are particularly sensitive to fabrics, you might find that real wool can feel a bit tickly.

We use Norwegian new wool (or lambswool). This type of wool is the finest and softest, typically obtained from a lamb's first shearing at around six or seven months old. It is less likely to cause skin irritation as wool tends to become rougher with the age of the sheep. New wool is excellent for blankets and bedding, particularly for allergy sufferers, as it’s hypoallergenic and resists dust mites. Additionally, it is highly breathable, helping your body regulate temperature effectively.

Returns

You have 14 calendar days to return an item from the date you received it. Your item must be unused and in the same condition that you received it. Customers are responsible for return postage. Your item must be in the original packaging and sent “Recorded Delivery”. Please be sure to retain the receipt or proof of purchase for the return postage, as it remains your responsibility until we receive it.

Return to: J.J. Textile Ltd, The Old Forge, Catton Hall, Catton, Walton-on-Trent, DE12 8LN, United Kingdom.

If you are returning your order from outside the UK, please mark the parcel as a ‘return’ on your customs label. If you fail to do so, any charges incurred at customs will be deducted from your refund.

Refunds

Once we receive your item, we will inspect it and notify you that we have received your returned
item. We will immediately notify you on the status of your refund after inspecting the item. When approved, we will initiate a refund via Etsy.

International customers are responsible for any import duties and taxes. If duties are not paid and a parcel is returned to us, all return shipping, duties and handling charges will be deducted from any refund or charged to the customer.

Shipping

Shipping costs are non-refundable. You will be responsible for paying for your own shipping costs for returning your item. Items ordered in separate transactions will be shipped together.

We can process a returns label for you in these two situations:

1) If your order was delivered by Royal Mail and you live in the UK. The label will need to be printed out and stuck on the top of the old label. You will need to drop the parcel off at a post office branch.

2) If your order was delivered by DHL Express. The label will need to be printed out and stuck on the top of the old label. You will need to book in a collection for DHL Express to pick up the return.

When you receive a refund, the cost of label will be deducted from your refund.

VAT (also known as JCT, GST, SST, or QST in some countries)

Etsy collects VAT for certain countries (including most of Europe) and the VAT is included in the price that you pay when you checkout. If this is the case for your country, you will not have to pay any VAT when your item enters the country.

EU - Duties and Tax

VAT and or Customs Duty may apply to your order.

The amount of customs duty will be assessed at the point of entry of the destination country. This may result in the buyer having to pay additional charges which are not included in the total price displayed at checkout. Customs duty only applies to goods where the value exceeds €150.

Etsy will collect VAT from EU buyers if the value of the package (excluding delivery and taxes) is less than or equal to €150.

For packages with a value more than €150, VAT (and customs) will be collected on import from the buyer by the postal carrier.

USA - Duties and Tax

When goods are shipped into the US, the buyer is responsible for any fees/taxes/duty that may accrue on the merchandise when it clears Customs and Border Protection (“CBP”).

If any duty is owed, a processing fee could be charged to the buyer by CBP or the carrier/postal operator for clearing the package.

Etsy will calculate, collect and remit US sales tax for orders shipped to customers in US states that require it.
