I’m a Mom, an entrepreneur, a seamstress, and a designer. I have always followed my passions and I put those passions into everything I create for my customers. I grew up watching my mother sew clothing, prom dresses, pillows, and drapes, which eventually became a successful business. When I decided I wanted to be home to take care of my children, I began working with her, and learned the sewing craft that is now so rarely passed down to the next generation, working in residential homes and commercial restaurants on custom curtains, drapes, pillows, and cushions. My mother retired and JLD Interior Designs was born out of these passions and skills I have developed and nurtured along my path in life. I work with design firms and their customers, marketing departments of some of the largest fabric and textile companies, and I design and create fabricated household decor for personal clients.
