Jack N Mack is a culmination of a love for all things vintage, a desire to express my creative spirit, and a fascination with machine embroidery.
I come from a big family with big mouths and big love. Being raised in the south, I've always had a love for a monogram. I bought my first sewing and embroidery machine 7 years ago and was scared to death to even open the box.
Once I had my baby girl on the way, I decided to give it a whirl and haven't looked back since. Over the next few years if I wasn't embroidering and sewing, I was READING ABOUT sewing and embroidering and spending endless hours searching for the perfect design.
After a few years of embroidering I found that I was always merging, deleting, editing and working to make other digitizers designs meet my "vision". So then i realized it was time to make the jump.
I never could have imagined finding something I loved more than machine embroidery, but I had. Digitizing embroidery designs is music to my soul. I love the creative process and thrive on the moment when I look at the screen and see what I've been working to find. As I finished designs, I shared a few with friends and got butterflies in my stomach when I saw them post their work with my designs. That's around the time I decided I would start listing them for sale.
Since then it has been nothing but fun. I truly love everything about selling my designs and digitizing custom designs for my customers. There's no greater compliment to me than to see you all posting pictures of your work and sending the sweet reviews. I read every one and many times over.
I have a wide, and probably random at times, taste in the things I like to create. Obviously I do have a great love for the vintage inspired look and I take a lot of cues from hand embroidery. I often refer to my children's designs as "unhand embroidery". I love to combine textures to create something truly unique and special for my customers to use.
On any given day you could scroll my phone's photo stream and see a comically diverse amount of places where I find inspiration. I often embarrass my family taking pictures of trucks, table settings, vintage clothing, coloring books, advertisements, paintings, linens and anything and everything between.
I hope that you enjoy my shop and find something that makes you smile. I appreciate each and every one of my customers and truly appreciate each purchase you all make as I find my way down this little path following my dream!
