Welcome to Jacque Russell Creates, where creativity is inspired by nature and designed to help you make something beautiful of your own.
My love of the outdoors is at the heart of my designs. Living surrounded by the wide-open landscapes, mountains, forests, and wildlife of Wyoming gives me endless inspiration for the patterns I create.
My shop specializes in painted barn quilt patterns and laser cut files designed for makers, DIYers, and creative small businesses. My barn quilt patterns combine the timeless tradition of quilt blocks with rustic, nature-inspired designs—from classic stars and geometric patterns to mountains, pine trees, wildlife, seasonal designs, and the colors of the outdoors.
I believe a great pattern should be beautiful and enjoyable to create. I thoughtfully design my patterns with the maker in mind, providing clear designs that can be transformed into something uniquely yours.
My laser cut files carry that same creative spirit, giving fellow makers designs they can use to create home décor, gifts, and handcrafted products.
Many of the designs you'll find here begin with something that catches my eye in the natural world—a mountain sunrise, a woodland animal, a field of wildflowers, or the changing colors of the seasons. From there, I turn that inspiration into a design you can bring to life yourself.
