Hey! I'm Jess, the illustrator behind Jahar Design. I'm a graphic designer and illustrator living, exploring and running my small design studio from my home in Manchester. I graduated in 2014 with a First Class Bachelor of Arts in Illustration and continue to draw freelance alongside working as a graphic designer. I love creating intricate, bold and unique designs through my prints and custom portraits.
I am constantly thinking of you guys, the customers, and what you might like to see next. I try and keep my custom portraits unique but still have an alikeness to the person I am drawing. Have you seen the custom wedding portrait colouring pages? They’re perfect for weddings, mainly to keep the kids (and adults!) occupied during the speeches but make amazing favours too. If you have any suggestions for new products I’d love to hear them!
I’ve been drawing custom portraits since 2016, but first opened my Etsy store selling screen prints in 2014. I now also design custom enamel pin badges and a range of colourful prints. I love knowing that there are people around the world wearing my designs and displaying them in their homes! These days in 2021 Etsy is a big part of what I do and over 1000 sales later I still get excited when you buy something and butterflies when I see someone has left a lovely review.
