Calm for your walls, designed in a small Tokyo apartment

JapandiNotes started with a simple observation: the calmest rooms we knew weren't in design magazines — they were ordinary Japanese homes, where restraint is just a habit, not a style.

We design printable wall art from a small apartment in Tokyo, using the palette we see around us every day: warm cream like washi paper, clay like old kitchen earthenware, sage like dried stems in a vase, and sumi ink. Every collection is built on a Japanese aesthetic concept — ma (the space between), wabi-sabi (imperfect beauty), yohaku (the beauty of margin) — and each print is signed with its red kanji seal.

Everything is a digital download: you print at home or at a local print shop, in the size that fits your frame and your room. No shipping, no waste, no waiting.
