New Direction...
12 years of successfully producing and selling hundreds of cards on Etsy and at local shops , it was time to Rebrand my art and Etsy store.. After having been on a creative hiatus for almost 2 years, with limited new photography and original designs, I have taken the steps to rebrand my creative outlet. JW North Studio
Previously, I had launched my art outlet February 2015, as TUSEN TAKK CARD CO.
The term "tusen takk" is Norwegian for 1000 Thanks, a phrase my grandmother would often say. So combined with her love of greeting cards, as well as my love for greeting cards and my talent TUSEN TAKK CARD CO. is here.
The Beginning:
What started as a hobby, I graduated my eye for photography into professional photo gigs for a few years. In the last year I realized my true passion is producing original art prints and greeting cards. My years spent within the retail and corporate retail environments helped me to realize this creative avenue. From start to finish, creative concepts, planning the layout/edits in my head to determining and testing what catches your eye. I love the process. I hope you are struck by the variety of styles and art options I continue to create.
