Mentre siamo nuovi su Etsy, non siamo nuovi alla torrefazione. Questa è una storia di grandi amici e ottimo caffè. Matt e sua moglie Danielle hanno aperto una caffetteria / negozio di musica davvero alla moda a Waupaca, WI e hanno chiesto a Dave e sua moglie Jaime di venire a lavorare con lui. Era una combo esilarante perché Dave odiava il sapore del caffè, l'odore del caffè e rabbrividiva persino in sua presenza, ma ha colto al volo l'opportunità di lavorare con il suo amico, Matt. Quindi questa è la storia di un autoproclamato odiatore del caffè diventato amante del caffè a causa della qualità del caffè servito!
Il tempo è andato avanti e la caffetteria / negozio di musica ha chiuso ed entrambi gli amici sono andati per la loro strada. Matt rimase a Waupaca e Dave andò in Cina con sua moglie e i suoi figli. In Cina, a Dave è stato chiesto di aiutare ad avviare una caffetteria. Purtroppo - o forse è per fortuna, non è riuscito a trovare un buon caffè da servire al cliente, spingendolo così a sperimentare la tostatura. Infine, il popolo cinese sarebbe in grado di sperimentare un ottimo caffè. Alla fine Dave tornò negli Stati Uniti dove lui e Matt si ricongiunsero. Nel frattempo, Dave aveva acquistato una piccola torrefazione per tostare il caffè per la sua famiglia come regali di Natale, che ha ricevuto recensioni entusiastiche. Mentre distribuiva sempre più borse a familiari e amici, continuava a ricevere feedback con un tema comune: dovresti vendere questo; questo è un caffè fantastico! Per Matt e Dave, ognuno di loro aveva ancora sogni di lavorare insieme, così hanno deciso di unire i loro talenti per iniziare un'altra avventura insieme: è qui che è nato Java Jive, unendo la torrefazione e l'esperienza tecnologica di Dave con l'esperienza di piccole imprese / vendite di Matt e le poliedriche capacità artigianali. Matt ha aiutato Dave e sua moglie Jaime a lanciare Java Jive. Ora Dave, sua moglie Jaime e i loro due adolescenti gestiscono Java Jive Coffee Roasters come un'azienda di famiglia, dove i loro figli adolescenti imparano preziose capacità imprenditoriali mentre imparano a diventare grandi dipendenti - e tutti insieme producono un ottimo caffè! While we are new to Etsy, we are not new to roasting. This is a story about great friends and great coffee. Matt and his wife Danielle started a really hip coffee shop/music store in Waupaca, WI and asked Dave and his wife Jaime to come work with him. It was a hilarious combo because Dave HATED the taste of coffee, the smell of coffee and would even shudder in its presence, but he jumped at the chance to work with his friend, Matt. Between giving music lessons, Dave would serve coffee to the guests...honing his barista skills under excellent tutelage from Matt, yet still hating coffee. Then all of the sudden Dave decided he'd better listen to his wife Jaime and at least try to like coffee. And then it happened...he had had GOOD COFFEE for the first time in his life! He quickly grew to like it--and even could we say ironically became kind of a coffee snob?!? So this is a story of a self-proclaimed coffee hater turned coffee lover because of the quality of the coffee served!
Time went on and the coffee shop/music store closed and both friends went their own way. Matt stayed in Waupaca, and Dave went to China with his wife and kids. In China, Dave was asked to help start a coffee shop. Unfortunately--or maybe it's fortunately, he could not find good coffee to serve to the customer, thus prompting him to experiment with roasting. Finally, the Chinese people would be able to experience great coffee. Eventually Dave came back to the United States where he and Matt reconnected. In the meantime, Dave had purchased a small roaster to roast coffee for his family as Christmas gifts, which received rave reviews. As he gave away more and more bags to family and friends, he kept getting feedback with a common theme: you should sell this; this is awesome coffee! For Matt and Dave, each of them still had dreams about working together, so they decided to combine their talents to start off on another adventure together: it's here Java Jive was born, joining Dave's roasting and tech expertise with Matt's small business/sales experience and multifaceted craftsmanship skills. Matt helped Dave and his wife Jaime launch Java Jive. Now Dave, his wife Jaime and their two teens run Java Jive Coffee Roasters as a family business, where their teen-age children learn valuable entrepreneurial skills while learning to become great employees--and all together produce great coffee! Dave and Matt, with music being what brought them first together, represent the idea of Java Jive, a love of great coffee and great music. Now their families continue to enjoy great coffee and stay involved together in music. It's a great story of friendship where great friends come together to help make the other's dream come true.
