Jean Burgers creates intricate wearable artworks inspired by Sacred Geometry and ancient symbols.

She uses traditional metalsmith techniques to create her jewellery, and cuts all of her metal designs by hand using a piercing saw.

Her passion for environmental sustainability is an integral part of her jewellery business. Her stones are all ethically sourced, and she works with 100% recycled metals wherever possible. She is also planning to have her studio running entirely off solar power by mid 2021.

Her aim is to create unique talismanic artifacts, imbued with symbolism, which are then added to by the sentiment of the wearer.

She has been making jewellery since 2002, when she learnt from master carver Chris Bone in Golden Bay, New Zealand. Her creations are displayed in galleries throughout the world. They are also available to purchase here in her Online Store.

She creates each and every piece of jewellery by hand in her little studio in the beautiful town of Emerald, Victoria.

All designs are handcut, carved and polished, making each piece a unique work of art.
