Really fantastic! I painted a wooden board for "...and then we held hands" as a gift for my boyfriend's birthday and these pieces were a perfect touch!

About

Making wonderful glass jewelry, sculptures and board game player markers

My design philosophy is inspired by Arts & Crafts era designer William Morris when he said "Have nothing in your house that you do not know to be useful, or believe to be beautiful." I hope you'll find your Jenefer Ham glass to be both beautiful and useful.

I get great satisfaction from making work the right way (some might say I'm a bit of a control freak that way...it must be done right!). My hope is that my pieces will become treasured, well-used, well-loved family heirlooms.

I have a blog at www.jenefer.net if you'd like to know more about me!

I've been working with glass for 14 years, and before that had my own graphic design firm. I'm very good at listening and designing and making. While I'm a bit of a control freak, it's all good because I'm a stickler for doing the job right!

In the role of super duper husband for 25 years now, Richard figures out stuff like how to get my blog posts to show up on Facebook, why some widget or another isn't working/showing up/looks wrong, keeps our computers humming & is my sounding board.

  • Daisy

    Cutie Pie

This is Daisy. She's a rescue from Adopt a Sicilian Stray. She completes our beagley family and is a great play buddy for Gertrude.

  • Dobby

    Guardian Beagle

This is Dobby, who loved socks and was a part of our lives for almost 16 years. She has joined Tula on guardian beagle duty and we miss her greatly.

  • Gertrude

    Nap Buddy

This is our new beagle, Gertrude. She's two years old, a cousin of Taloula, and joined our family in August. She's still settling in, but currently is excelling as nap-buddy and prime cuddler.

  • Taloula

    Guardian Beagle

This is Tula, who left us unexpectedly in April, due to cancer. She was such a goofball, and we miss her very much. We rehomed her from beaglewelfare.org.uk at 5 years and enjoyed her company for 7 years.

Hello and welcome to my little shop!

I love glass and have enjoyed working with it since 2002.

All my glass pieces are hand crafted by me and are immediately kiln annealed for durability, then cleaned, and are presented in a lovely velvet pouch.

I make every effort to show the glass colors as accurately as possible, but computer monitors are all different. If you're concerned about matching a color exactly, please email me and we can discuss if I can meet your needs. Otherwise, I think you'll find that my photos give a good indication of the colors, and I think you'll be very pleased with your glass. Photographing glass is challenging and my pieces are even prettier in person.

If you'd like to know about promotions/contests please visit my website at www.jenefer.net and pop your email address in the 'subscribe' box.

Thanks for looking at my work!

=) Jenefer

Payment
I accept ETSY's Direct Pay, Paypal, and bank transfers for UK and International Customers. This allows the use of the major credit cards, a bank account or your Paypal balance.
Shipping
The delivery charge is super low (just $3 worldwide!) and ALL additional pieces sent in the same package ship for FREE!

Yay! I love a great deal, and bet you do too =)

All in-stock pieces will be posted within 2 working days, but usually I get it mailed the next day, as the beagles love to get a walk into town.

For shipping, I wrap the glass carefully in dense bubble-foam wrap, and then place it in its lovely velvet pouch. For the exterior mailing envelope I usually use a padded bubble envelope. Orders with multiple items may be mailed in a box.

You can see a photo of how I wrap and package my glass at https://www.etsy.com/shop/JeneferHamGlass/about?ref=shopinfo_about_leftnav. Click through the photos at the top, it's the 5th photo.

There is a Registered Mail option, which tracks your parcel and gets a signature when it's delivered. It also seems to expedite the delivery, although that may be coincidental. You can add the Registered Mail option when you check out.

Please note: packages are not tracked unless you add the Registered Mail option.

I am sorry but once it's left my hands I have no control over delivery times. I take care to fill out the customs form properly to expedite the package's transit through Customs/Import.

I post to the address that you have registered with Etsy, so please take a moment and confirm that it is correct. Sadly, it takes months for an undelivered package to be returned to me...if it comes back at all.

All pieces are sent airmail and are delivered in about 7-10 working days to the USA (****but allow 14 working days****) and within a few days to Europe.

I've checked with FEDex regarding expedited delivery to the USA. They offer only their 3-day service, and charge something in the neighborhood of $70!

UPDATE for DECEMBER DELIVERIES.
In 2016, there were atrocious delays for anything shipped in December...what normally arrives in 10 days took 6 to 8 weeks! A few of the December orders were sent Registered Mail so I was able to see that the delay was at the Customs Office in NY. The agency must have been deluged, and unfortunately as they made their way through (what I'm visualizing as) a mountain of packages they started at the top. Packages sent even one day after the 'official' postal delivery deadline were thus at the bottom of the mountain and took weeks longer to arrive over packages sent mid or late December (which still took 4-6 weeks).

Neither you nor I have any control over such things, but we can be smart and plan ahead! =) So if you want your glass specifically in time for Christmas, I encourage you to order in the autumn for shipping no later than November 20th.
Refunds and Exchanges
I stand by my work wholeheartedly. If you are not totally happy with your purchase for any reason, notify me via Etsy within 24 HOURS of receiving your package and return your item in its original condition and packaging within 14 DAYS of receipt for a refund (minus the $3 shipping fee) or credit toward another item(s) -- your choice.
Additional policies and FAQs
Every care has been taken to ensure long life, but my pieces are made of glass, so common sense and care should be taken when handling them. You can clean them with a soft cloth and a bit of soap & water.

They are also relatively small items, so please use care if allowing children to view/hold/play with the pieces.

As far as I have experienced*, no customs duty is imposed on the import of lampworked glass. I always fill in the Customs Declaration form properly so Customs can easily process it and send it along to you as quickly as possible. Having said all that, customs charge/import duty, if any, are the responsibility of the buyer.

*I've posted to the USA, UK, Canada, Australia, New Zealand, Singapore, Hong Kong, Japan, Malaysia, Romania, Hungary, Poland, Slovakia, Germany, France, Portugal, Belgium, The Netherlands, Denmark, Norway, Sweden, Finland, and Switzerland with zero problem. To see places where my glass has already been shipped, visit www.jenefer.net and look at the map on the right side of the page.
