Nine Wyrds Co

Wyrd is a concept in Anglo-Saxon culture roughly translating to fate or personal destiny.

Whenever a fellow co-worker had to leave me a sticky note on my desk, she'd address me with a new Leslie Knope-esque compliment.

Notes like, "Dear Jenn, you flaxen-haired land mermaid, can you please order more paper towel?" These notes seriously made my day! And it got me thinking about all the notes we leave each other in our every day lives. Notes for our spouses. Notes for our kids. Notes for our co-workers. How great would it be to leave a note that was not only funny, but pretty and complimentary?

I set to work creating the first set of Leslie Knope inspired mini comp cards. I've used dozens of them in my every day since then. My daughter particularly loved getting them in her lunch box.

Seeing the joy these notes produced, I decided to make them available to all those other flaxen-haired land mermaids in the world who needed just a little drop of sunshine and delight in their every day.

Nine Wyrds was born, and being here, creating things I love, it almost feels like a personal destiny.
