Art is our only Salvation from the Horror of Existence…
Painting has always been my passion, and have always endeavoured to force it up on the world (after all, I suffer for my art, so why shouldn't everyone else!?).
I left school at 18 and embarked on what was my first stint at trading as I opened my own fair trade shop in the small Yorkshire town of Otley, named 'Summer Rain'. Here was where I had my first opportunity to try out selling my art along side the other items we stocked and work on my skills.
After a while I started attending other events, firstly as a shop owner , but eventually as a artist in my own right. As time passed and I frequented more and more comic conventions, Steampunk fairs, and fairy markets, I realised I was making more money from my art than the shop. So after 5 years of 'Summer Rain' shut its doors for the last time and I took up the life of a starving artist!
From then (id like to think) my art has gone from strength to strength and my reach has widened as a artist. Selling art and prints up and down the country and internationally.
