This is a great introduction to bookbinding! I liked the personalization options available and the instructions were well-written. The links to additional resources were very appreciated, sometimes you just gotta watch a video to figure out what you're doing lol. Some of the materials could have been higher quality: some of the precut pieces were not evenly cut or matching in height, the thread was difficult to use even with wax (ended up getting a spool of actual bookbinding thread), and some of the vinyl transfer wasn't cut all the way through. I am still overall happy with the kit and think it's a beginner-friendly way to get started with bookbinding.

The typeset is beautiful - I love the touch of each chapter having an image of a candle that shortens the closer we get to the end. A very nice touch! Digital so no shipping required
